What a life!

Ten days until I finish classes for my undergraduate career.
HECTIC!
On another note, everything in my love life is *sigh*. Had a wonderful outing with my boyfriend yesterday. Went down Canal Walk and saw all of the historic tributes there. Accompanied by talking, smooching, and laughing. That guy....
Got my invites in the mail from my Father and his girlfriend...and they took my BREATH away! Beautiful surprise indeed.
Have to send those out as well as print/send out ceremony reminders...late as hell! smh Hope my great uncles and their wives/children can make it down to celebrate with the family. I miss them dearly.
In the MEANTIME, I have LOADS of work to finish. Damn those group projects you end up doing alone smh.
Hopefully when I enter my career I will be on teams where others care as much and work as hard as I do. I can only pray for the best, for I KNOW I shall receive it!
Other than that, I am extremely blessed and highly grateful!
I won a debate this weekend (two if you count the preliminary round). Has me SUPER exicted for my promising future.

Leading vs Following

At my school I took on a leadership position to show around our new students and make them feel welcome. Going thru our training, we also have to follow. A good leader must also know how to follow. If they don't then, how can they truly be a good leader? Makes you think some huh? My main point basically is you have to see from others perspectives while attempting to lead someone. If someone who was your peer who was guiding you and was talking down to you, how would you respond? How would that make you feel? Just some food for thought when you want to lead someone or are considering it..
